My Review 

Debut Book 

The saying "don't judge a book by it's cover" couldn't be more true for this book. It was not what I was expecting. It was like watching a snowball gather in size as it rolls down a mountain. Ireally liked it. It took me a few chapters to get in to it, but then I was hooked.

I loved how it kept me guessing, I wanted to know all about Storm. Girl we have a hot alpha male. And definitely someone you would want to be stuck in the snow with. This wasn't your usual dive right into the hot action this was definitely one to get to the Boil. I liked it because it wasn't like your usual rock star reads. I don't know how I felt about Evie, I felt like shaking her at times.  

This book is a really good read and one I think you should try. 

The story was painted vividly that you could see the story in you mind like watching a film. 

I give this 4/5 stars.

My debut series, Ashes & Embers, follows the lives of rock band members as they find, and sometimes lose, the loves of their lives.
My first novel in the Ashes & Embers series, Storm, was published in September of 2014.

Cole and Mason are brothers and are both in the rock band, Black Inferno. Cole is the lead singer and Mason the lead guitarist. His little brother Mason has been begging for a regular night out. Mason has never been a fan of the groupies and after parties and Cole finally takes pity on his brother and agrees to his night out. Cole realizes that he too is fed up with the after party life, the drugs and easy women are boring. While the band is in L.A they find a night club where they are sure none of their fans go and hope they can have a good night without being recognized. 

It's in this night club where all four meet. Cole spots the gorgeous brunette dancing on the stage and immediately wants her. Lacey can't take her eyes from the dark and dangerous looking stranger. They all go back to the girls apartment, Cole and Mason discover just how close the best friends can be which leads to an interesting night. Lacey and Roxie have no idea that the guys are from the famous rock band, Black Inferno. To them they are just two gorgeous and tattooed men they met in the club.

Cole and Lacey find themselves drawn to each other, Lacey is scared at how fast she is falling for this new man in her life. Cole keeps his rock star profile from Lacey, he feels bad for lying but he's scared that if he tells her it could ruin what they seem to have. The truth will always come out but can Lacey handle the truth and can she forgive Cole when she finds out who Cole really is? Does her love for him make her look over his lies?

"How about we give you boys a little something?" I hear Roxie say from the other sofa. "Hell yeah,” Mason growls. Cole looks up at me. "Let me see that sexy body of yours Lacey." He pulls the zipper down very slowly kissing along my jaw as he does. His eyes burn me from the inside when he looks at me in my black lacy underwear, then he gives me a very sexy smile. Chelsea Camaron and I do a lot of plotting together. In fact, she’s the person I call to help me through my writer’s blocks. For me, the Regulators MC was an idea I thought up shortly after writing Secret Maneuvers. In depth, the Regulators MC is quite a bit different from what I’ve seen concept wise. However, I was intimidated by the idea of stepping into the biker romance arena. So, I put the idea on the back burner although CC said she thought it would totally kick ass. Time passed, and then I started writing Stripping Her Defenses. This was where I knew the Regulators MC would make an entrance into my writing world. They were always involved in Riley Sullivan’s story line and how he finds his ex-wife after their divorce. But the more I thought about them, the more I loved the idea of them. Still, I didn’t think I could do it on my own. I, admittedly, am not the expert at that sort of alpha man. Then it hit me. I needed my best friend. She writes an alpha man like nobody’s business! So I called CC and I laid it all out for her, positively sure I was going to have to beg. And I would have too. I would have begged and pleaded and even shed crocodile tears to talk her into the Regulators MC project. Luckily, she didn’t make me do all that. She immediately started spouting ideas for the series and I asked her if she would marry me and have little author babies with me. She told me our husband’s probably wouldn’t like that idea but we could totally write those books. So, I gave up the idea of running away and marrying my bestie and settled for writing the Regulators MC instead. I’m SO glad she said yes. She’s breathed this amazing, unbelievable life into characters in a way I never could have accomplished. I’m a lucky, lucky woman to have a friend who balances me so beautifully. She’s my ying to her yang. In closing, I can’t wait for everyone to read Ice. It already blows me away and it’s not even done yet. These characters… AHHH I love these characters. I can honestly say I couldn’t have done it without the fabulous, incredible, marvelous (I’m kissing my best friend’s ass here, bear with me) stunning, phenomenal friend.
