Sometimes it’s best to let things go.
But sometimes it’s better to fight until the very end.
Excerpt
Sarge walks into the kitchen and looks between the coffee all over the fridge door, the smashed porcelain on the ground and me, chuckling.
“That went well,” he says and lets his own laughter rip from his lips. “Heard her shrieking like a banshee out in the yard.”
“She wants to go home.” I rub my hands over my eyes and try to relax, but knowing she’s pissed isn’t great for me.”
“Women are different,” Sarge says with a shrug.
“Tell me about it.”
“Sometimes it’s best to shut the fuck up and not fight ‘em.” Sarge sits in the chair that Nix was sitting in.
“You pussy-whipped?” I ask as I feel my eyebrows draw together in question.
“Hmmm.” He reverts back to normal Sarge. “Women wanna be told what to do, but you need to make it look like it’s their idea.”
“That’s fucked. She should just do what I say and be happy with it.”
Sarge shakes his head. “She’s right, you’re a dick.”
My Review
Margaret McHeyzer Has done a fantastic job with Grit. Right from the beginning your hooked. Catapulted into The world Of MC fights and wars. I read this in one go. I couldn't put it down. It has everything you could possibly want from a great read, drama, angst, hot biker guys and steamy action. Jaeger Dalton was promised something and when he didn't get it. He took something else that was promised to someone else. What he wasn't counting on was falling for Phoenix Ward.
I think if you like biker books then you need to try this one. I really would recommend it. It has plenty of on the edge of your seat moments, I think I closed my eyes at some point. This is a book that if you start reading it its best to not have any distractions, because you wont want to put it down.
This book is Fantastic. It needs to go straight to the top of your "TBR" pile. I cant wait to see what is next.
I give this 5/5 stars
