Park and Violet
On her first year studying abroad, beautiful and vivacious 18-year-old Violet York is on a mission to forget her past. Once, she loved being the Queen of Flirts, loved playing hard-to-get and – eventually – getting caught. Now, she can’t get enough distance between her and all the boys in the world. Well – all the boys except for Park Jin.

Park is like no guy she’s ever met. He’s a 20-year-old Nordic god with a Korean accent - or at least that’s one of Violet’s better descriptions of him. Most times, when they’re (literally) fighting like cats and dogs, she prefers to think of him as the Asian Yeti, the blond gorilla - he’s a foul-mouthed jerk who calls her a banshee, a midget, and every other ugly nickname that comes to his nasty mind, goes out of his way to be rude to Violet, and – best of all – he hates girls.

Both Park and Violet carry scars in their hearts – scars that they’re desperate to hide. In each other, they find the unlikeliest allies, a way to keep themselves apart from everyone else and, more importantly, from ever falling in love again.

Yet when they’re not on each other’s throats Park and Violet can’t help succumbing to the intense chemistry between them. As kisses outnumber hisses, there’s a question that’s getting harder and harder for the two to ignore.

Is it time to risk their hearts again?

Suit and Fangs

Caros are what vampires used to be. We are slaves to pleasure, power turns us on, and each and every one of us has one great weakness to hide.

Caylie Sonora loves all things beautiful, and no one is more gorgeous and seductively irresistible in her eyes than the quiet and old-fashioned Luka Georgiades. Every Caro girl wants to belong to Luka, craving both his body and authority. But if Caylie has her way, all she’ll take from him is revenge. He used to call her his princess, and yet three years ago Luka had publicly humiliated Caylie by cold-bloodedly rejecting her for the sake of his ambition.
Their ancient enemies may tremble at the mere sight of Luka, but Caylie isn’t afraid. He may have one of the finest minds of their race, but she’s also the only one who knows his most terrible secret.
Hidden underneath his politely charming manners burns an obsessive desire to indulge in the most carnal of passions, and there’s nothing Luka wants more than to possess Caylie, in every imaginable position.
Now that Luka is back in her life, Caylie is determined to play a game of deceit and destruction. And she's going to win by using her body to break his heart.

The Legend of the Blue Eye by B. Kristin McMicheal

Synopsis

Arianna Grace liked her boring, Midwestern, teenage life where she ignored the many unanswered questions of her childhood. Why were her parents dead? Why did she not have family? Where was she raised until she was five? When someone offers to explain it all, Arianna thinks she’s just getting answers. Instead, she is thrown into a world of night humans who drink blood.

On Arianna's sixteenth birthday, her world is thrown upside down when she changes into a vampire. Night humans, or demons, as some call them, live in normal society. Learning all of the new rules of a world she didn’t know existed might be hard enough, but it's further complicated by two former-friends that now want to help her take her role as the successor to her grandfather.

There is a war going on between the night humans. Sides have been taken and lines are not crossed. Four main clans of night humans are struggling for control of the night. Divided into two sides, clans Baku and Tengu have been at war for centuries with the clans Dearg-dul and Lycan. That is, until Arianna Grace finds out the truth; she’s the bridge of peace between the two sides. But not everyone wants peace. With the night humans divided, Arianna is now a pawn in the war between them. She must choose a side—her mother’s family or her father’s—and for once in her life, decide her own fate.

My review

I received this book for an honest review on goodreads.

This book had me from the synopsis, I loved the cover. I think B. Kristin McMichael got everything right with this book. This is the first book by this author that I have read, I don't think it will be the last. the pace and flow was just right for me. I read it in one sitting.

Our story starts with Arianna Grace, who lives with her aunt and uncle because her parents were murdered. She has the same routine every Friday night when she meets her friends at the cinemas. When Ari starts getting notes attached to the bottom of her cup at the cinema she is intrigued, as it mentions her parents. Ari is then taken into a world she never knew existed, where she has to quickly has to adapt to survive.

I loved all the characters in this book especially Ari, Devin, Turner even Andrew. The only one I didn't like was Andrew's uncle. the descriptions about the story made you feel like you could see the picture clearly.

I cant wait to read Becoming a Legend(Book 2 of the Blue Eyes Legend)  Which is due out in June 2013.
