My Review
We meet Isis who is having trouble sleeping or rather she refuses to sleep after having terrible nightmares. She is under a psychiatrist. Who also happens to be her friend Andy's dad. He advises Isis to take sleeping pills to make her sleep as its now affecting her health. After promising her mum she will take them. She goes to sleep and sees the beast that is plaguing her nightmares, only its not a beast he's a man- he's beautiful like a god.

After talking to this man Isis tells David he's not real so they make a wager if he can prove he's real she will stop coming to the somnium.  David does prove to Isis that he is real by turning up at her high school.

The danger in seeing a book and reading the excepts that were out there thinking you wanted to read it because it looks good. Then getting the Book and reading it. and it not meeting up to your expectations.  This is so not the case with this book, I loved it. I loved everything  about it.

What can I say without giving anything away. The pace and flow of this book is right, there was not any part that made me uncomfortable or that I was disappointed.  I loved Isis and David's characters. I really can't say anything other than you need to buy this book.

I am going to give this 5/5 Stars.  And 3/5 for movie moments.

I am so thrilled to be part of this. I am a fan of Marians. These books look amazing and I will be downloading these. There are two giveaways with this book blitz. One is set and managed by the Author. The other is on my Giveaway page.

When Fangirls Lie by Marian Tee
(How (Not) to be Seduced by Rockstars #1)
Publication date: May 9th 2013
Genres: Contemporary, New Adult

Synopsis:
19-year-old Saffi March is not the perfect girl everyone thinks she is. When the pressure of pretending becomes too much, she escapes for a weekend and transforms herself into another persona - a hardcore groupie for the rockstar also known as Sweden's #1 Sex God, Staffan Aehrenthal.

One look at the beautiful girl hopelessly trying to hide her naïve virginal innocence behind skimpy dresses and garish makeup and Staffan immediately knows the groupie called "H" is hiding a secret. He also knows he needs her desperately. He's determined to make her his, the only girl who's able to soothe the demons in him.

But before Staffan can let Saffi into his life, those stars in her eyes have to go - and he'll do everything for that to happen, even if it means cruelly hurting Saffi until she realizes that he would never trust anyone with his heart again.

EXCERPT 1
There was nothing as beautiful as seeing Staffan Aehrenthal dance. It was sheer poetry in motion, and he never failed to seduce his faithful audience with every little move he made. There were just no words to describe the heart-thumping excitement he evoked from his fans no matter how fast or slow he danced. And when he started to sing, oh God, how it made Saffi’s body tremble with desire!
Staffan’s eyes suddenly locked with hers.
            She gasped.
She knew she must be imagining it. She must be. He couldn’t be---
The line of bouncers suddenly split into two from the center, just in time to let Staffan jump down from the stage. And then he was walking towards Saffi, his eyes never leaving hers.
Saffi’s gasp came out strangled, and it became harder and harder to breathe as Staffan came closer, a six-foot-five silver-haired man whose face was literally the last thing she saw before she slept and the first thing she saw when she woke up. He was the subject of her laptop, tablet, and phone’s screensaver, the pin-up in her high school locker, and she even had a limited edition collectible photo in her wallet.
Before she knew it, Staffan was already standing right in front of her, too gorgeous to be true but too close not to be real.
God, he was tall. God, he was sexy. And oh!            Galloping groupers! Those hazel eyes. Surely she had to be mistaken. Surely those eyes didn’t say---
Staffan Aehrenthal held his hand out.
She took it without even a moment’s hesitation.
As he pulled her close, the screams all around them became louder. But even so, she heard Staffan very well as he whispered into her ear, “I’m going to fuck you now.”
And the next thing she knew, he was leading her up the stage.
Staffan Aehrenthal taking a girl from the crowd and dancing with her on stage was nothing unusual. He did it in every single one of his concerts. She had been aware of that, and she had envied all the girls who had the privilege of dancing with him. But what she didn’t know was that dancing with Staffan meant something entirely unexpected.
Staffan held her close, singing, not saying a word to her even if it was his backup vocals’ turn to sing. But with every chance he got, his hands would graze her breasts, pinching her nipples to life. Every time he would twirl her around, his hands would be brushing against her most private part, the one that had started to throb just because he was near.
Saffi was on fire, in heat, and out of her mind with desire. She was utterly mesmerized, and all she could do was follow Staffan’s lead as he continued to arouse her in front of thousands of people.
A part of her was completely shocked. He was seducing her…not just in public but on stage. At a concert that thousands of mobile phones were presently recording, a concert that could be televised---
She should be running away from him now, but she couldn’t. All Saffi could do was look and feel Staffan Aehrenthal touch her. All she could think was him. Staffan.Staffan.Staffan.
The look on Saffi March’s face almost made Staffan lose his concentration. Dammit. She looked so fucking sweet, so ripe for fucking, that only his sense of professionalism, honed razor sharp by the years he had worked in the music business, kept him from losing control and taking her then and there.
He had always done this. Always. But only Saffi threatened his control.

About the Author

Hi! I’m Marian Tee – I write sexy funny romances, emphasis on the funny because most readers tell me my books are a public hazard, often causing them to laugh out loud and get funny looks from other people.
I’m from the Philippines, half Filipino and half Chinese with a love for all things Japanese! Yes, that rhymed.  I love dancing, travelling, watching horror movies and basketball, and reading Archie comics.

Of course I love reading books, too. In fact, if I’m a little too slow in releasing a new book, it’s probably because I’m too busy being a reader and forgot all about being a writer.  Yes, I know, MY BAD!

I am a frustrated MANGAKA, hence why I write novels like Drawn and why I have a Vampire Knight fan fic posted at FanFiction.net (just search for Morteia Chronicles).

Author Interview

I want to say a big Welcome to Katy for doing this interview with me.

What was the inspiration behind Real?
Remington, definitely. I read a very interesting book about genetics one day, and then he just came to life in my head. There he was, blue-eyed, sexy as hell, and battling his demons, and I just had to sit down and write his story.

Do you have a "thing" you do when you write to get into the zone?
I definitely seem to have a strange little routine. I need to have a light breakfast, pour myself a hot cup of either coffee or tea, and then I just have to have it sitting by my side while I write. And in fact, as soon as I notice it's cold, I need to go refill or I just can't keep concentrating.

Tell us about your self
Well I'm happily married, a very proud mother of two, a happy home maker, just beyond excited that my dream of sharing my stories with all you has come true.

Is there a part of your self in Real
My heart. A lot of the subjects in the story are things I feel really passionate about. Emotionally, I just feel an incredibly strong connection to Brooke and Remy. Their love of music, their love of well being and exercise.

What can we Expect from Mine
You can expect much of what you experienced in Real! Another roller-coaster of love, passion, need, strength and vulnerability, and a whole lot of Brooke and Remy.

Thank you so much for having me over, Suzanne! :)

Final Cover Reveal of Rome by Jay Crownover

The final puzzle piece Of the Cover Reveal of Rome By Jay Crownover.

Genre: New Adult
Published Date: January 7th, 2013

Synposis

Cora Lewis is a whole lot of fun, and she knows how to keep her tattooed bad boy friends in line. But all that flash and sass hide the fact that she’s never gotten over the way her first love broke her heart. Now she has a plan to make sure that never happens again: She’s only going to fall in love with someone perfect.
Rome Archer is as far from perfect as a man can be. He’s stubborn and rigid, he’s bossy and has come back from his final tour of duty fundamentally broken. Rome’s used to filling a role: big brother, doting son, super soldier; and now none of these fit anymore. Now he’s just a man trying to figure out what to do with the rest of his life while keeping the demons of war and loss at bay. He would have been glad to suffer it alone, until Cora comes sweeping into his life and becomes the only color on his bleak horizon.
Perfect isn’t in the cards for these two, but imperfect might just last forever . . .

I'm supposed to share interesting details about myself so that my readers get to know me so here we go in no particular order: I'm an natural redhead even though I haven't seen my real hair color in years, I'm a big fan of tattoos and have a half sleeve on either arm and various other pieces all over the place, I've been in the bar industry since I was in college and it has always offered interesting insight into how men and women interact with each other, I have 3 dogs that are all crazy, I live in Colorado and love the snow, I love music and in all reality wish I could be a rock star not a writer or a bartender but I have zero talent so there is that.
I love to write, love to read and all I'm interested in is a good story with interesting characters that make the reader feel something

My Review

I received an Arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Kaye and Samuel are childhood sweethearts, she's like a daughter to Samuels parents Sophie an Alfonso. after Kaye and Sam are married, Sam decides he doesn't want to be married anymore and moves to New York. Kaye follows him and something happens while she's there and she comes home and files for divorce.

Several years later Samuel is a successful writer, and his book The Water Sirens is being turned into a film. Is it coincidence that the lead character Neelie Nixie is very similar to Kaye. That's not all Samuels sister Dani is getting married to Angel and Samuels coming back to town for the wedding. And bringing his agent Caroline. Is she just his agent though? She's stuck up and very pretty and Kaye doesn't like her.

Kaye starts questioning herself and all there friends about hers and Samuels relationship, Was she right to push for a divorce so quick? With the help of Kaye's Attorney Jamie, whose a genius. together they do all kinds of pranks to Caroline to try to get her out of the way so Kaye can try and talk to Samuel.

I love this book it was funny in parts that had me laughing out loud. I loved Kaye and Samuels characters. The storyline was different to any I've read. Set in Lyon, Colorado. Kaye and their friends love all the white water sports, and jumping from planes. Their wasn't one bit of the story I didn't like. it had me hooked.  This is a must read.

I would give this 4/5 stars.

Synopsis:
Sometimes the only road to the truth...is one you’ve never taken.

The Road to Discovery...
Two years ago, Aurora Gray’s world turned upside down when her big brother Gideon and his best friend Jeremy disappeared. Now, during the summer of her 18th birthday, she unexpectedly finds her brother’s journal and sees that it’s been written in again. Recently. By him.

About the Author

I've been writing since I was a wee lass. I was reading before that; possibly while still in the womb. Don't think about that too much.

I started out with short horror stories and poetry. I was terrible at it. The poems not so much, but the stories were awful.

I decided to finish a book (and I DO mean finish--I'd started plenty throughout the years) when I was in my mid-twenties (so not that long ago because I'm young and will forever stay that way). Again, not my best work.

But that's the thing about writing; it improves with time. (It's also a good thing to know your work can't possibly be any worse than it was when you first started.)

What I love most about writing is having people tell me how much they enjoy my work; how my writing touches them; makes them feel intensely.

Bringing a reader to laughter or tears is a wonderful feeling for a writer, and no, I'm not sadistic. *insert evil laugh HERE* It means I got them to feel, to respond to something I created.

Also, I just like to make stuff up and put it down on paper. I have an endless supply of stories in my head; lots of stuff to share with the world.
