So I don't know if you were wondering if I had fell off the face of the earth, due to no posts on my blog or Facebook page. I am going to share a little something personal. Some of you may remember I have had a few health issues over the last few years. From a bowel cancer scare and ms/mini stroke scare to an emotional breakdown and severe anxiety. Which flared up my eating disorder.
I have finally began to get help in the aid of counselling and I feel so much better for the help I have received. Mental health comes with a stigma, it shouldn't as it your brains way of saying -
" hey, i need a break, time for a time out"
I firmly believe that at some point we all need a time out, and in order to understand who we are and why we are who we are we have to look to the past in order to understand our future.
Also I had lost my reading mojo and nothing was appealing to me. So i stopped reading my emails for 4 weeks and just did nothing but go to work, go to counselling and come home. I still have a little ways to go, but no longer feel bogged down with life.
The book to bring me out of my reading mojo was Harmony by Addison Jane. You can see my review below.
I hope you are all ok. And look forward to sharing some of the great books I'm sure are coming up. Feel free to share the amazing books you have read.

Harmony makes no excuses for who she is or what she’s done. For the past few years she’s been living as a club girl for the Brothers by Blood MC. The club girls are there for a purpose - to cook, to clean and to keep the men happy. She respects the club, respects the men and she follows the rules. Watching the men walk in and out of her life is strangely comforting, and a feeling she’s grown accustomed to. With a history of disappointments and false promises, all she wants is to have fun, play music and finish college. Being associated with the club, she can do that without having to risk her heart. That was until he showed up.
When Kit's father stepped down as president, he took the title with pride. The Brothers by Blood MC is his family, his home. Deciding to celebrate his new title with his brothers from a neighbouring chapter, the last thing he expected was to find Harmony - a club girl with all the makings of a perfect old lady. The stunning blonde is beautiful, strong and fiercely independent. Harmony refuses to lower the walls she’s created around her heart, but the fire inside her and her love for the club fuel his need to have her by his side, and on the back of his bike.
When Harmony’s safety is threatened, Kit is determined to do whatever it takes to protect her and prove that she can trust him. But after a lifetime of broken promises, will it be enough?

I have to tell you before i started reading this book I was in a book funk, I had lost my reading mojo..... nothing appealed to me.
But WOW this book has got me right out of that funk. From the beginning I was hooked, I could not put it down. once I got to the end I was seriously devastated.
I love MC books, and this one is right up there in my top five. I loved the characters. I loved the story. I loved Harmony. This book contains everything you would expect from an MC book. The pace was just right and flowed perfectly.
This book is not one you start just before you go to bed as once you pick it up you wont put it down until you finish it. So expect a longgggg night. You also will not want to be disturbed while reading this.
This book was amazingly fantastic. With a fabulous storyline. Written beautifully. I CANT wait for the next one.
I give this 5/5 stars and 5/5 for movie moments.
About the Author
Hi! I am Addison Jane!
I come from a small country called New Zealand.
I have always had a strong love for reading and writing and Missing Link, whilst not the first story I have written, is the first I will be releasing.
My favourite genre is romance, specifically MC, rockstar and young adult.
I'm a single parent to a beautiful little girl, we live in a quiet little town and I have a small but amazing group of close friends.
My other passion in life is working with kids! I work with them part time along with going to school to complete my graduate diploma.
I am fortunate enough to have a great support base, whom without them, I would never have stepped out of my comfort zone and pushed myself to share my writing with you all!
