Will Kenna ever open up and share her dreams with Jake?  Can Jake overcome his childhood issues?  Is Kenna willing to accept things just as they are forever?  Will her desire for a more serious commitment make her change her feelings for her one love?  Is Jake enough alone or does Kenna demand more than he can give?  Can they move forward full throttle into their future together?

Excerpt #1 Chapter 4
Kenna

I wake up to an empty space beside me.  Jake never came back to bed last night.  We always sleep together, even with his nightmares, or when we are fighting.  After all the time spent apart with the deployments, we treasure the little things more, like being wrapped up in one another.  What is going on with him that he didn’t want to sleep beside me?
I shower and dress for my day, trying to tame my irritation.  I descend our stairs, reaching the bottom; I stop and stare.  Jake is asleep sitting up on the couch, empty beer bottle still in his hand.  This gorgeous man is snoozing away in his boxer briefs.  Watching him breathe in such a relaxed state, I take in the man before me.
Jake is built lean like a swimmer.  When standing, he is five feet ten inches tall.  He has a trim build with broad shoulders.  He is not overly muscular but he is toned everywhere, especially in the definition of his chest and abs.  He has dusty brown hair with deep green eyes.  For me, he is a perfect fit, and the sexiest man I’ve seen.
As I take in the steady up down rhythm of his chest, I am drawn to the angel tattoo.  She is moving with him with his every breath, as he inhales and exhales.  This movement pushes the words around her, causing them to practically scream out to me.  I get teary eyed remembering that specific ink experience.
It was right before his first deployment to Iraq.  He said I have always been his angel, saving him from himself since the day we met.  The angel on his chest was designed to resemble me in her facial features.  The script seems to dance around her.
‘Watch over me, carry me, bring me always safely through to my loves waiting arms’
Mentally, I have got to shape up.  Jake does not need me as a distraction with all that is on his plate at the garage.  Dwelling on the marriage that will never occur isn’t going to help either of us.  I am Jake’s love, as he is mine.  I wait when necessary for the next opportunity to hold him close, and always carry him in my heart.
I see Dina with Ryder, knowing their day is coming soon.  The desire for that level of commitment is evident in the way they look at each other.  Maggie has made it more than clear to Brayden (and everyone else) that she expects a proposal sooner rather than later.  Both of these couples are so in love and on the path to wedded bliss.
Jake and I are still head over heels in love with each other.  Despite all the years together, I continue to get butterflies when I see him.  The honeymoon phase has never ended for us.
Seeing our friends so happy and in love is wonderful.  I truly am overjoyed for them.  This whole wedding thing, where Jake and I are concerned, shouldn’t bother me so much.  Yet, it does.  What am I to do about it now?

My Review

Piper Donovan has  left her cheating ex boyfriend found a new apartment and a new job. An assistant to an author. She goes out to celebrate with her friends, and after a few drinks she sees a hot guy. When she's dancing with her friends the mystery guy comes up behind her and together they seductively start dancing, then he grabs her by the hand and takes her off to the ladies bathrooms, while there is a queue and locks the door leaving everyone standing outside.
Tate Lawson, is an author, and no one can work for him, they don't last longer than a month. He can't get his one night stand out of his head.
Imagine both there surprises when Piper is his new assistant. When she walks into the coffee shop. He fires her on the spot. Her real boss Felix tells her Tate can't fire her, only he can. So she goes back out there and shows him what she's made of. The attraction is their between them and both fight it. but how long can they go on fighting it.

I loved this. I Loved the characters. I loved Pipers character.  I loved the tasting session in Vegas with Tom, especially the kitchen scene, and Tate turning up at just the right moments, which then lead to the elevator scene!

JC Valentine is the author to watch out for. Her books are hot, they grab you in and don't let go till your ready. This had everything you want in a book, Girls nights out, hot guys, hot guys-did I say that already. you guys need to get this book its amazing.

I would give this 5/5 stars and 2/5 for movie moments.

Excerpt #1 Chapter 2
Harrison
Quickly realizing, this is not the time or the place for this encounter I respond.
“Tiffany now is not a good time.”
At the mere mention of her name, Sophia pulls away from me.  Tiffany looks distraught, eyes puffy, her blonde hair pulled into a messy bun on top of her head.  She’s in yoga pants and a tank top.  Clearly she didn’t know she was coming to a wedding.  My sister hasn’t gotten into the limo yet.  Seconds tick by feeling like hours.  Why is Tiffany here now?
Tiffany looks over to Maggie, the occasion dawning on her face.  “I’m so very sorry to intrude.  I just need a moment to speak with Harrison.  I didn’t realize what was going on when I was told I could find him here.  Congratulations Maggie, you look stunning.  Again, I’m sorry.  I’ll be leaving now.”
Turning to face me, tears now evident in her eyes, she says, “Harrison, please call me tomorrow.  It’s important.  I’m leaving to go return to South Carolina late afternoon.”
Anger builds in me at the loss of Sophia at my side.  How dare Tiffany come back now!  Without thinking, I snap.
“Now is not the time, Tiffany.  To be quite honest, never would be too soon.  I have nothing to say to you.”
Without a word or reaction, Tiffany turns and leaves.   The tension in the air quickly leaves as Brayden kisses my sister passionately. Reminding us all of the occasion for which we are here.
The newlyweds get in their limo driving away to the clanging of cans hanging off the car and the cheers of family and friends.  Knowing some damage has already been done, I go in search of Sophia.  Things aren’t defined between us; this isn’t jealousy, I don’t think.  She knows how much Tiffany messed me up before.

Excerpt #1 Prologue (adult content)

We arrive in Miami, check into our hotel, and immediately decide to check out the Miami night life.
Wearing a barely there silver, backless, halter dress and heels I was ready to dance the night away.  At five foot seven inches with my heels, my legs are going on for miles tonight.  I put my hair in a loose up do, frame my eyes with a smoky shadow, and add a clear lip gloss to finalize my look.
Brayden is dressed in his typical baggy jeans and t-shirt.  He is six foot tall, more of a lanky build with a slight beer belly forming, which is especially noticeable when he stands next to a very toned and muscular Ryder.  His dirty blonde hair and crystal blue eyes, which hold such depth they make me melt every time he looks at me.  We both love to go out.  We met four years ago at a bar in Charlotte while we were both celebrating another finished semester of college.
We arrive at Cameo nightclub in downtown Miami and immediately hit the dance floor.  There is something about the atmosphere of a club that just takes over my senses.  The bodies pressed together, each finding their own rhythm as the vibrations from the bass reverberates through the crowd.
Having Brayden up against my back side running his hands all over my body as we move to the music is enough to bring my nipples to attention rubbing against the thin scrap of fabric, otherwise known as my dress.  His hands roam, as we dance, moving the back of my barely there dress over the hills of my ass, leaving me exposed.  My bare backside now grinding against the erection of his jeans is delightful friction.  He then places one hand upon my breast and begins to tease it, while he plunges two fingers, from the other, into my hot core.  I am so turned on I don’t care who sees me.  When I am almost ready to explode, he stops.
Grabbing me, he leads me to a back hallway, where he quickly pushes me up against the wall, freeing himself and pounding into me.  Raw, needing passion, transfers between us as I have an earth shattering orgasm.  Brayden follows right behind me.  As we straighten ourselves, he smiles and whispers, “I love that you never wear panties, baby.”

About The Cover reveals for Chelsea Camarons Daddy series

Daddy’s Girls Series
The Daddy’s Girls series is a set of novellas that will take you on a journey through the ups and downs life can throw at you.  Each one of the women, in these six different couples, is impacted in some way by their father’s influence in their lives, whether positive or negative.

The journey begins with our beloved, Dina, in Crash and Burn.  This is a story of loss, a story of overcoming, and moving forward.  Dina is learning how to continue living after the devastating loss of both of her parents.  Michael comes along and slowly pulls her into a dark and lonely world with him.  Can she see the light again and work her way out before he hurts her worse?

Broken, battered, lost, and ashamed, Dina pulls her life together once again.  This time she’s gun shy to give into her attraction so easily.  Ryder Davenport has waited patiently for Dina to feel strong again.  He’s stood back, in the shadows, observing the damage a man can do to a woman’s mind, body, and spirit.  He changes his playboy ways, all in hopes of being the one to claim Dina’s heart.  Restore My Heart is a story of rebuilding, learning to trust again, and the ability to love again.  Can Dina find it in her to love and trust a man again?

In the first two books we meet Maggie.  Following her early days with Brayden in Crash and Burn we learn these two have a strong sexual attraction to one another.  We watch them have what is seemingly a strong and beautiful relationship for four years in Restore My Heart.  They are the couple to set your standard to.  Maggie is ready to commit her life to Brayden.  In Salvaged, we learn, Brayden has secrets.  Big secrets.  Life changing secrets.  He has messed up, and left Maggie to deal with the aftermath of his many mistakes.  This is a journey of forgiveness and unconditional love.  Can Brayden face his demons and fix himself?  Can Maggie forgive his transgressions and accept his struggles as her own?  Can their relationship be Salvaged?

Jake, an Army reservist, works hard, plays hard, and loves hard.  When Jake is not serving his country as a soldier, he works for Ryder.  He’s been with his one love for nine years.  He’s happy, he’s comfortable.  Never one that has considered marriage, he’s thrown off by his own thoughts on his future with Kenna.  Every little girl dreams of the day she wears the gown, says the vows, and dances with her Daddy.  Kenna is no different.  Jake has been up front with her, marriage is off the table.  Watching their closest friends have what she wants so desperately, a crack forms in their once solid foundation.  This is a story of commitment, communication, and lifelong love.  Can they sort through Jake’s past?  Can Kenna give up her childhood dreams and settle for the life she has with Jake?  Will they find a way to move Full Throttle into their future together or does it all fall apart?

All along the way, things seem Beyond Repair for Tiffany and Harrison.  A spoiled, southern belle, Tiffany doesn’t know how to be anything more than the country club snob her father raised her to be.  Love is blind, Harrison doesn’t see beyond the fa├žade Tiffany puts on.  When she spouts off at the mouth, all is lost.  Harrison moves to Charlotte and begins his life.  Two years pass, he’s in an arrangement with Sophia.  He’s settled, and he’s content.  Tiffany comes with heavy news for Harrison and his family.  Her presence stirs old memories.  They’ve had no closure.  Sophia, unable to give her heart to Harrison, feels there is unfinished business between her lover and his ex.  Knowing she can’t give him what he wants, she lets him go.  This is a journey of understanding, unconditional love, support, and friendship.  Can Tiffany and Harrison rebuild once he’s free?  Are things really Beyond Repair for these two?

Sophia has a past, one that has Stalled her life.  She’s waiting patiently.  Her heart belongs to one person and she’s remained firm to this for years, fourteen years to be exact. Trenton has never been able to forgive himself for what his father did to Sophia.  His dad, now gone, Trenton leaves Texas to find Sophia.  He wants to give her what her heart desires most.  This is a journey of love, time, and bonds that can’t be broken.  When he shows up at her doorstep, can she forgive?  Will she forever be Stalled and bound by her past?
