I received an Arc copy of this book.
This book is set in a court room. In one corner we have Gabrielle a defence lawyer, in the other corner we have the hot player Mr Braden Pierce a Prosecutor, who never has a relationship with anyone. two lawyers who have spent the last few months on opposing sides of the court room. After some pent up attraction and much flirting by Gabrielle one night while in a bar where all the lawyers hang out, things start developing between Gabrielle and Braden. It starts out with a few dates till they are regularly seeing each other.
Braden introduces Gabby to his parents and siblings one weekend and attend a charity function hosted by his mother. Braden's brother Drew hits on Gabby in a jokingly kind of way by making comments, although he does it in front of Braden. Braden's quite sweet as he gets all protective of Gabby. While Gabby is at the function she meets some Friends of the family Marla an Ex of Braden's, Cole - a politician, Mrs Mason a family friend who wants to marry her daughter to Braden.
I loved this book I read it in one sitting, I couldn't put it down. It made me smile in parts, kept me guessing in other parts as to whose sending the notes. I loved the style of the writing. It was just the right pace, I never lost interest once. I loved the relationship between Braden and Gabby and their friends, even Bruno. I loved the hot interview room scenes. I think if I ever had to go into an interview room at court I wouldn't be able to take it seriously.
I would recommend you add this to your to be read pile.

My Review
I was so excited to read this book after reading and reviewing on my blog the First book- The Law of Attraction. I know I keep saying this but the danger of a second book is it wont be as good as the first book. This is so not the case with The Home Court Advantage. N.M. Silber does it again, this book is just as good as the first book, there's nothing that would make you think it was any less than the first book.
OK, what can I tell you about this book............. The cello tape is on....... This book starts off where the first book finished so if you haven't read the first one go and get it now. We re-join Gabrielle and Brandon(and Bruno) for more ...... of their story... sorry guys I don't want to spoil it. What I will say is I don't think I will take part in a board game without thinking of this book.
I loved this book. I loved everything about it. I love the characters. It is an amazingly fantastic book. There is nothing about this book I didn't like. You have to add this to your "TBR" list.
N.M.Silber, thank you for letting me read this book. It is AMAZING. It makes you want to lock the door and stay till you finish it. Its, funny, sexy , nail biting. I LOVED it.
This book gets 5/5 Stars and 3/5 for movie moments.
