Synopsis

My Review

I took part in the book blitz of I Breathe You earlier this week was offered the chance by Lori to do a review as well. Thank you Lori.

The story is about Rhane Evans who after leaving her privileged life behind, after not complying with her parents over what they wanted her to do, they disinherit her. But Rhane doesn't care she doing what she wants to do - music, and most importantly Dalton - her soul mate.

They form a band Fates Crazy with two other members, live in a squalled apartment, but they don't care there doing music and have each other. The only blip on the horizon is Rhane's Temper, and boy what a temper it is. Once she starts she lashes out physically and verbally, usually aimed at Dalton at which he has to physically restrain her.

Fates Crazy's luck changes the night they are signed up for the big time - in more ways than one. And Rhane ends up staying at the house she inherited from her grandma. While there she meets new people Gwen and Ian.

And her new life begins.........


I loved this book. It pulled me in and never let go. I Loved Rhanes Character, I felt sorry about her parents not being accepting of who she wanted to be. But glad she had her uncle T there for her, as well as Gwen although she wasn't very accepting of her at first. I didn't know that there was an actual condition called Intermittent Explosive Disorder.

When Fates Crazy's luck changed I was dumbstruck - never seen that coming( sorry guys can't say too much you know I don't do spoilers). Everything about this book was right, the pace, the story just flowed. I loved the cover.

I want to leave you with my favourite quotes from the book;

"Inside the small linen closet are a few folded towels, I pull one from the middle of the stack and give it a hearty snap to dislodge anything that might have more legs than me" - I loved this as it would so be me- it is me.

"So I'm not going to kiss you right now. I can't promise you when it will happen. Just know that I've never wanted anything as much as I do you."

You will be happy to know Lori is currently working on the second book in the I Breathe You Series.
