Draw Me In by Megan Squires
Publication date: January 7th 2014
Genres: Contemporary, New Adult, Romance
Synopsis:
He’s a young, up and coming businessman with the keys to his family’s Italian wine enterprise.
I’m a fine arts student, navigating life in the Big Apple, my pencil and sketchpad in hand.
We meet. We fall in love.
But it’s not that story.
Sometimes, by a rare gift of fate, two lives cross paths. And hey, if that happens to occur when staring at Michelangelo’s naked masterpiece, even better. We can tell our future children how a seventeen-foot tall marble guy named David brought us together.
But there’s always more to a relationship than its beginning and ever after. In life, there’s a whole lot of backstory. There are ex-fiancés and hot roommates and family members whose advice continues, even beyond the grave.
When you say you love someone, it’s never just that one person you’re saying it to. And it’s never just that one moment that sets everything in motion.
There is always more that draws you in.

My Review
I absolutely loved this story. The cover didn't do it for me at first, but when I had read the story I get it, so the saying " Don't judge a book by it's cover" is so right in this case. This book was far better than the synopsis. I had forgot what the synopsis said when I started this, but WOW I think even the synopsis doesn't do it justice.
Julie is an arts student and also fills her time working in a coffee shop. On a trip to Italy with her students and best friend Ian, someone bumps into her and the connection is their.
Once back in the US, she cant stop thinking about this guy, then he walks into her coffee shop and into her life, but at what cost.
I cant stress how much I loved this. I'm not going to say too much because i don't want to spoil it for you, I want you to read it and let me know what you thought.
I don't know if it was meant to be funny, I don't normally read funny ones. But OMG seriously, I couldn't move for laughing with this at the beginning at Julie, surely no-one can be that clumsy. I laughed out very loud, sometimes not in very good places, on my lunch break while sitting on my own, In the doctors room. So a word to the wise, Do not read this in public places, people may think you are strange.
Apart from it being funny, it was emotional, heartbreaking and endearing.
I love Julie, she is strong without knowing she is. I love the relationship between her and Ian, her gay best friend. I loved her and Leo......
It was a late night/early morning reading this, but so worth it. I couldn't put it down once I started.
Leo, is a gorgeous, hot Italian. Who means well but underneath that tough exterior their's a soft centre.
Megan, This book is exceptionally, stunning. Its Fantastic, Funny. Everything has the perfect amount of everything in it, pace, flow.
I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book gets 5/5 stars and 5/5 for movie moments.
